Returns & Refund Policy
Returns of non-faulty goods will only be accepted if the goods are in perfect re-saleable condition. The customer will pay for the cost of return and proof of postage must be sent to us.
Returns of faulty goods- Prior approval from HH Pedder & Son Ltd is needed before goods are returned. Photo images or video showing the fault are to be sent to [email protected] for consideration. Goods need returning within 28 days of delivery. The customer will pay for the cost of return and proof of postage must be sent to us. Cost of return postage will be refunded with cost of tank within 28 days of us receiving the goods and checking the condition of them.
Refunds will be made within 28 days of us receiving the goods and checking the condition of them.
Please note - Bespoke tanks can only be cancelled if they have not gone into production already.
Delivery Information
*It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address and contact number you give us is accurate.*
Generally, deliveries will be advised 48hrs prior and will be made Monday-Friday between 9am and 5pm, Specific day or AM or PM deliveries can be arranged at an extra cost.
Delivery of tanks up to 2500L - Kerbside.
These tanks are delivered with tail-lift offloading to kerbside at the address and moving the tank from there into position on your property is your responsibility.
Please let us know is there are any issues with access for an 18Tonne truck as we may be able to organise a smaller 7.5 Tonne truck where possible.
Delivery of tanks above 2500L- Artic delivery.
OFFLOADING IS THE CUSTOMERS RESPONSIBILITY.
If your delivery address is inaccessible for an arctic please ensure we know so we can look at alternative delivery service.
HIAB deliveries (crane on lorry) available on request at extra cost.
Upon delivery of your tank please remove any wrapping immediately, if it is left on too long it can cause the paint to bubble.
Installation Guidelines
It is the customers responsibility to ensure the tank they order along with installation and location of said tank meets the requirements in their area. Please refer to the OFTEC website for more information.
For general guidance your base needs to be adequate for the weight of tank plus it’s contents. It needs to be level and extend 300mm beyond all sides of the tank and made of concrete, paving stones or stonework.
Maintenance Guidelines
Tanks will last much longer if they are maintained correctly. We advise that tanks should be repainted every 18 months with a suitable paint and checked regularly for any problems. Care should be taken when carrying out work near to the tank to ensure it isn’t damaged.
Warranty
These tanks are guaranteed for 10 years. With exceptions i.e no corrosive liquids to be stored in them or any outside party working on them, and maintained i.e painted every 2-3 years.
